i'm in melbourne.
it's strange coming to a place i've called home for two years.
strange because this time, i'm not staying. i'm merely a visitor for two weeks.
strange because i've always played tourist in melbourne and have few places that i've yet to explore. (of course, i could revisit them.)
strange because the friends i've known are still there but in different contexts. the relationships and the dynamics between people have been altered by people coming and going.
strange because i walk down cardigan street and don't have the keys to the place i used to call home.
the people and places bring back so many memories - good, bad and somewhere in between.
it's been somewhat of a mild emotional rollercoaster. still...
