and i thought...
the guys i play against...
every friday were good...
in what was a very unusual circumstance to have a homecoming to my *ahem* alma mater - a term i apply very loosely to ngee ann - i was squashed by a singapore poly staff player. and he hardly broke a sweat.
neither did i actually. that's how much better he was. he hit hard. he hit accurate. he covered the court from corner to corner. and i think he was giving me face.
when i was doing my mass communication diploma in ngee ann poly, i used to play squash at those courts with cheryl, walter and whoever else we could rope in. i watched the ngee ann staff play after we were done with the courts each week. i saw they were good. on friday (i think - wednesday, i'm lamb to the NTU slaughter) i will experience how good they are. or at least how good one of them is.
by all evidence, the team i am in is the weakest. well, it's all just for fun anyway.
