1-9, 0-9

when you watch the best player in your team get downed 0-9, 0-9 you know you're in for a very short game. the one point i scored was the first point of the match. i somehow won serve from him and then won the point. i think it was mostly because he wasn't expecting such a hard serve. about the only 'weapon' i can count on.

from then on, he knew what to expect. i did feel i could have won more points in the first set. yet, i also felt that he - like my opponent on monday - was not playing at 100%. the second set proved it. i never managed to win serve and there wasn't even a single rally.

back to training then.
